​​What is EFT (Tapping)?

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or Tapping... 

is a unique method for dealing with negative emotions and physical symptoms. Points - energy hot spots - along the meridian system are tapped on using your fingers. Acupuncture, another healing modality, uses the meridian system as well, but with needles. Tapping combines ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology, with undeniable results, supported by research.

What are meridians...
Meridians are a network of energy channels that run through the body much like blood runs through veins and arteries. This system was mapped over 5000 years ago by the Chinese.

Tapping can be used: 
as a stress management tool by rapidly releasing the emotional impact of stressful or traumatic life events from the body-mind system. 
to overcome negative emotions such as guilt, shame, fears and phobias, jealously, anger.

It is also possible to use EFT to reduce physical pain.

How does it work...
EFT was developed by Gary Craig in the 1909s. He states that it is based on the idea that, “The use of all negative emotions are a disruption in the body’s energy system.”
